Friends of Flagstaff’s Future believes in the importance of a robust local economy in creating a sustainable, environmentally sound, and socially just community. We believe that local self-reliance and community prosperity go hand-in-hand and that an important way to build wealth for all participants is to build a locally-rooted economy that is inclusive and equitable. We support a living wage and policies that encourage an economy in which all can flourish. We recognize that locally-owned businesses can contribute in significant ways to the overall vitality and stability of the community and we support efforts to ensure their viability.
